• Dr. Penny E Kupferberg , D.V.M.

  
  

  Dr. Kupferberg received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in Wildlife Biology and Management in 1983. She graduated from the Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, and did her final year of training at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and Ontario College in Guelph, Ontario.   Dr. Penny practiced veterinary medicine at Indian Trace Animal Hospital in Weston for the last thirteen years. She is pleased to be opening the Coral Springs Pet Resort & Medical Center. Dr. Penny lives in Parkland with her husband, son, and daughter, and her dogs Angel and Alex. (Two Human children and two canine children)

• Dr. Amy Schein , D.V.M.

  
  

  Dr. Schein graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in 1992, completed her preveterinary training at Columbia University, and received her DVM from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  She went on to work at the ASPCA in New York City for more than 6 years, treating shelter pets, humane law enforcement cases of animal abuse and client owned pets.  She has been featured on Animal Precinct (on Animal Planet) as well as educational segments on local NY and national news channels.  Dr. Schein feels it is important to communicate with her clients so that they can make informed decisions regarding their pet's care.   Dr. Schein moved to Florida in 12/05 with her husband, 2 young sons and 3 older cats.

• Jody Crotwell , Practice Manager

  
  

  Jody  joined our team in May 2008. She has been working in the veterinarian field for over 10 years in the Kansas city area and in Florida.  Jody feels that it is important that clients and their pets care are always clinic and the resorts top priorty.  In her spare time, Jody likes to read and go to the beach with her 4 children (3boys and 1 girl). She also likes relaxing at home with her 2 dogs and 1 onery cat.

• Mrs. April Melio , Resort Manager

  
  

  April has been with the company since October 2000. She has truly been a great asset to the opening of the Pet Resort here in Coral Springs. She started out working in one of the sister hospitals in weston ( Indian Trace Animal Hospital) she worked there as Dr Penny's Veterinary Technician for 4 years. She then was promoted to Resort Manager . She transfered to the Pet Resort when it opened in May 2005. She lives with her four pets - three dogs (Goldie, Spunky,and Jem), and 1 cat ( Crazy Gracie). Animals have always been April’s true passion. She can truly say that she enjoys what she does, and would not change it for the world.

• Amanda Bainlardi , Resort Supervisor

  
  

  Amanda is a student at FAU. She loves animals especially dogs. Animals have always been her passion. She is attending college to become a veterinarian. She has 2 dogs  a chow mix named Buddy  and a pitbull named Maya who are her bestfriends. She has been with the resort since 0ctober 2006.

  Sabrina is a college freshman at UF . She has two energetic and loving dogs, and it is because of them that she loves working with animals. Sabrina started in February 2006 volunteering in the Pet Resort. During the summer her hard work , dedication and her true love for the animals has made her a vaulable employee.

• Christopher Irizarry

  
  My name is Christopher I started working at the resort in June 2008.  My favorite quote is "no one is promised a tomorrow."  So I like to live every day as it were my last.  Some of my favorite pass times are eat ing,  hang out with my friends and looking at the stars.

  Blake joined the pet resort team in August 2008.  He is a first year FAU student majoring in business.  Blake loves dogs and enjoys working in the resort.

• Jennifer Reichhart

  
  My name is Jennifer and I'm 21 years old.  I am newley engaged -yeah me!- to my High School sweetheart of 3 years.  I live at home with my parents while atteding college. I am majoring in english education to teach High School.  We have have four dogs all of which are mixes- no pure breeds.  My favorite colors are black and green.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, playing on my computer and hanging out with my friends.

  My name is Dustin Tucker Guy , I am 21 and a leo.  I love to make cookies, watch movies and spend time with my girl friend.  My favorite music is classic rock and my favorite food is celery with chocalate.

  My name is Darious and I am 16 years old.  I attend Coral Springs Charter High School  where i am an honor student. In my spare time I love to work out and play basketball.  I plan on in the future attending UCF / UCLA.

  My name is Hallie and I am a senior in high school. For as long as I can remember , i have wanted to be a vet, which is why I began as a volunteer here in 2005 and became an employee not long after.  I love working with animals and hope to continue doing so in college.

  Katie has been working with us since December 2005. She enjoys working with animals very much. She has a Shih tzu named Gizmo who she loves to spoil. She also has 2 cats, Kitty and Stinky.

  Jeff  joined the pet resort team in August 2009 , he has been a vet tech for 8 years and he loves what he does. He has 2 dogs , 3 cats and 2 birds. Jeff has been married now for 18 wonderful years and has 5 children.

• Francisca Lopez

  
  

  Francisca joined our team in July 2007. She really enjoys working with animals. Francisca has a soft spot when it comes to baby kittens.  She recently adopted a little black kitten who she named "Titty Meow", she also has a sweet , loving Pitbull named Aaliyah. She is currently attending school to be a Pharmacy Technician.

  Priscilla joined our team in February 2008. She has worked in and out of the field of Veterinary medicine for many years.  She has worked in emergency medicine, many small animal practices and humane societies throughout the years.  In her spare time she volunteers at J.P. Taravella Highschool, Ramblewood Middle school and Riverside Elementary school. She has a very supportive husband, 2 wonderful human children and a few furry ones...

  Toddley has been with us since October 2006. Toddley is currently going to Atlantic technical School to become  a surgical technician. She has one dog named "Splief" who is a red nose pitbull.
